I still have a weak signal.
What should I do?

Try to take the following measures:

1) Make sure the device is turned on and working properly.

2) Make sure that in the place where outdoor antenna is installed, there at least 2-3 signal bars are. If there is no signal, changes the position of the outdoor antenna.

3) Check that there is no self-oscillation. Strong transmission towers will interfere with the amplifier and then the amplifier will switch off automatically. In this case you have to adjust the position of antennas 'by moving them by at least 5 meter..

4) Check the connections between the antennas / amplifier and cable to see if it is loose.

5) Check if the amplifier or repeater is powerful enough for the area you want to cover. Please note that the thick walls and stairs can seriously impede a signal.

The working principle of a GSM amplifier is quite simple. An outdoor antenna receives a signal from a mobile base station and transmits it to an amplifier. The device amplifies the signal and spreads it over the area with an indoor antenna. The amplifier operates in a duplex, which means that it not only gets signal from the towers but when received it also sends it back.

How to align the antenna.

Possible reasons could be:

R&TTE guideline according to the telecom agency

The directive for radio- and telecom equipment: R&TTE guideline

R&TTE stands for Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment, in short: radio- and telecom equipment. It is a European directive to regulate the electromagnetic compatibility for this type of equipment. De R&TTE directive applies to almost all devices that use the radio spectrum. And for wired and mobile telephony devices, cable television and internet connections. For example mobile phones, autodeuropeners, analog telephones and cable- in PC modems.

Why an R&TTE guideline?

Devices that meet the R&TTE Directive may be placed on the market in Europe. They do not interfere or otherwise disturb equipment and prevent harmful exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Testing

Manufacturers and importers are responsible for ensuring that their products meet the R&TTE guidelines when they come on the market. Therefore, the equipment must be tested. Do you want to test your products yourself? That's allowed. You can use the harmonized standards of the European R&TTE guideline. You may also demonstrate in other ways that you meet the requirements of the R&TTE guideline. Outsourcing testing is also allowed. A booster is a device manufactured for the needs of the consumer. The word Repeater has a broader sense; This device is used for industrial purposes.
